Services - Welding

The following industries are foundational to our TIG welding operation - aviation, space, industrial gas/ turbine, power, and propulsion. Our welders have an extensive background in the aerospace industry to AWS D17.1 and AMS 2694 (in-process repair welding of castings) on AMS materials including Nickle, Cobalt, Inconel, 316PH, Steel, Stainless steel, Copper, Aluminum, and Titanium. 

Our internal TIG welder undergoes on average 38 weeks of training before they certify.  All of our training and certification is to class A welds. When certifying our welders their test and test parameters are verified and supervised by our quality department and management. Their test coupons are sent to an independent third-party lab for testing, inspection, and metallography analysis. 

Some of our past customers and experience include TIG welding for General Electric LEAP Engine, Blue Origin, Space-X, Pratt and Whitney, Rolls Royce, and MTU..  

 

We contract our welders to business and educational facilities. 

 

*Class A welds of critical safety items are welds that a single failure of which could cause loss of life, an un-commanded engine shutdown or failure that jeopardize safety, cause catastrophic or critical failure resulting in loss of an aircraft or weapon system.  

*AWS D17.1 = Specification for Fusion Welding for Aerospace Applications.

*AMS 2694 = In-process repair welding of castings.
